Beacons

A Visit to Lake Michigan

A jetty is on each side of the South Haven harbor's channel.

A sleek green and white beacon stands on one jetty.

The other one supports a red and black beacon that looks like a coffeepot.

A continual procession of boats went out to the lake and returned to the harbor. There were enormous yachts following silly little rubber rafts powered by outboard engines. There were kayaks, old fishing craft, lovely cruisers, brutal cigarette boats, and a great many nimble Sea Doos.

There was also a continual procession of people.

He's a Michigan Man. Although it ought to say, "Wide load."
